Press Release: 6th Annual Auction for Education

Students for Students International announces its sixth annual Auction for Education

Chapel Hill, NC, April 9, 2009-Students for Students International at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill will hold its sixth annual Auction for Education on Saturday, April 24, 2010.

The Auction will be held at the FedEx Global Education Center in Chapel Hill. The evening will feature a performance by Oasis, a popular international dance group at UNC, and a presentation by two members of the S4Si executive board who traveled to Zanzibar last summer to select the current Scholars. There will also be an address by keynote speaker Mr. Derreck Kayongo, an Advocacy Coordinator for CARE International.

The doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m. The event will be catered by Palace International, a Durham restaurant featuring fine East African cuisine. The Auction includes items from around the world and around the Triangle. All proceeds will benefit the S4Si Scholars.

Dress is cocktail attire.
