Jamila Bakari Hassan
Jamila’s favorite subject is currently science, and someday, she hopes to become a doctor. She would like to attend the university in Tanzania or another area, possibly North America. Her father is a carpenter far from Stone Town and her mother is a housewife. In the past to finance her education, her neighborhood pooled together money to pay for her book and bus fees.



Approximately one quarter of girls in the developing world are not in school.
