Zuwena Salum Abdalla

Zuwena is one of six children and lives with her mother and her father. Her mother stays at home and her father is a dala dala driver. Zuwena’s favorite subjects are biology and geography. Zuwena hopes to attend university to become a pediatrician.

She is a supporter of state-funded education, as she feels without it many people would have to sell their houses to put students through university. Before the scholarship her family would have been dependent on government funding for her to attend a university. Zuwena would like to travel to Norway because she has heard the citizens have stability and peace in their development. If Zuwena were to travel there, she would like to bring back knowledge to better her own community.
